We’ve been exploring our newly adopted home and found some truly beautiful places on the way. We’ve been surfing and of course making art along the way. We were not sure if we had made it to the caribbean or some far flung island paradise but the picture above is indeed, Cornwall.
Regardless, we both felt lucky to have been to this beach with only one other person on it. Out of season Cornwall is a beautiful place to be and to explore. Pedn Vounder beach was hidden for many years before being shown in a tv show and subsequently has become a bit of an attraction at the very end of land in Cornwall.
Pedn Vounder is known by locals as pednee, which is how you pronounce the Cornish word 'pedn'. The word means head while Vounder stands for lane, so beach at the end of the lane.
We loved it. 😍
TUNES
Dreamy, atmospheric and more the sound of the cornish climate that we’ve currently experienced. A Blaze of Feather speaks directly to the moody cornish crags and wave washed beaches that we are used to.
SIGHTS
ART
We love water and colour, so we’ve been combining the two to make art pieces. More of which will be trickling through from our hands and into our print shop.
