The Rolling Studio 🎨
Create where you want
The days are long and so are the brush strokes that caress the cotton paper waiting to be painted. Spring is fully here and we have been basking in the sun, soaking up all that delicious solar radiation.
Our van doubles up as an art studio and serves as the home of creating for Tarn. Being outside a lot and having a fresh breeze roll through our van really helps enliven the zest for making.
The both of us have been nurturing our creative juices lately and that’s why I am here to share with you what we have been up to.
BELTANE
The Celts named the first day of May ‘Beltane’, which is one of four fire festivals throughout the year along with Imbolc, Lammas, and Samhain. The Celts saw Beltane as the beginning of summer and brought life and fertility back to the world.
The sun was out all day on the beginning of May and this symbolic ushering in of summer. The day is a good reminder of hanging on in there through the dark winter months and making the most of the good weather when it does arrive.
TUNES
Sitting in the garden
Listening to the radio
A spring tune to lift spirits and bring a smile to faces saddened by winters harshness.
