The ocean has decided to not deliver rideable waves for the past week or so and instead a hectic onshore wind has settled in making any nice wave crumbly and mushy.
When the surf stops we carry on making art, most likely about surf though.
THE PROCESS
We’ve been lucky to have the sunshine on our side. Poor surf happens but to have gloriously bright long days mean we can make more art. It’s not all bad after all.
The ebbs and flows of the water transcend onto paper with a piece that we worked on recently. A dreamy tropical surf scene that has us thinking of jumping in with just our boardies. While we love cold water surfing - our minds continue to trace lines in warm water in the tropics. Just the same as pencil and later watercolour do on paper.
MUSIC
A tropical boost on a rainy monday morning.
COFFEE
In times of no waves there is always time for a good coffee. That’s a constant.
SHOP
Our shop is brimming with sun drenched scenes and surf dreamscapes.
